As I said I read lots of reviews and post over the last week. Since I've only owned AVR's before and never had issue with the sound, until now, this is new territory for me! Yes, you're absolutly right about #4. Now I just have to convince the wife that we need a 7 channel amp...which means I'll have to get another set of rears too!
