I'd suggest checking out this page[/ur], specifically the [url=ht...nd BDP-83" link that describes optimal setup of the BDP-83 with a Model 970 or Model 1070. You definitely want to use HDMI out from the player to your TV - you can use the 1070's DVI switching if you have another DVI or HDMI source, but if you don't need the switching I'd vote in favor of simplicity and just run straight to the TV. For audio, the coaxial connection will work fine for CD and DVD, but for Blu-ray you should probably connect the multichannel analog output - a connection that you might even use for CD and DVD if you like how it sounds, because the BDP-83's analog section is really quite good.

If your RPTV will accept both 720p and 1080i, I would suggest trying both and picking the one you prefer. If the projector's native resolution is 720p (or 768), 720p may win out over 1080i, but it's worth experimenting with to see which you like most.
