Sounds like the BDP-93 is probably the way to go unless you decide to splurge on the BDP-95.

If you didn't care about 3D, Netflix, or wireless networking, you might also be able to snag a used BDP-83 or BDP-83SE in the near future for a decent price. I haven't looked lately to see what the going rate is for those players in the used market, but the BDP-83 should be at least a little cheaper than the BDP-93.
