I've got an ECS-10 but can't provide much objective feedback yet. We recently moved and we're still in the process of going through boxes so the A/V setup hasn't been a priority. I do have the Onkyo 606 connected to 3 Boston Soundwares and the ECS-10 in a 3.1 setup for now. I haven't messed at all with sub placement or even run the Audyssey calibration yet.

After some level adjustments I've gotten a pretty good good mix between the ECS-10 and SoundWares. The ECS-10 provides a nice bottom and easily fills the open den/kitchen area at the modest levels we've used so far. CSI Miami and the Playing for Change DVD sounded really nice: good enough for me. I'm coming from an EX (in a completely different house and room) and am pleased with the ECS-10 so far. I can't really say that I notice (by memory) any less performance than the EX although there likely is some, but the small size definitely outweighs any performance sacrifice there might be. This thing is very small, about the size of on 24-can box of 12oz soft drink cans.
