It looks like we have an answer to our question of what was being announced this month...

The FAQ says the following:
"The loudspeakers have a -3dB down point of 52Hz."
Based on that, I'd lean toward a crossover point no lower than 60Hz - and I'd probably give 80Hz a try just to see how it compares.
