The HDMI-DVI cable that I have been using from the Oppo is a Belkin cable, ~3' long. I purchased this cable nearly 3 years ago when I got the HDTV and HD sat receiver. The other two cables in the mix are from Blue Jeans cable and are 7' (HDMI-DVI) and 9' (DVI-DVI)and are three days old.

I scoured through the forums and found two other threads that look like my problem. Bumped them to the first page...no one seemed to have a solution .
