Im positive the Aragon will, as ONLY the very best amps will do, put double the power as the imped. is halved, so you can expect a 200 watt Aragon (into 8ohms) to put out 400 watts into 4! Just like other super high end amps will do (Sunfire, Krell, Blue Circle and others) albeit, at a VERY high price..
Uh, Everett, you might want to take a look at the spec's for the Aragon 2005 and 2007 (5 channel and 7 channel) amplifiers as shown on their web site. They are listed at 200 watts into 8 ohms and 300 watts into 4 ohms. What you say may be true for many 2 channel amps, but not often for a 5 or 7 channel version. By the way, for those that think it's important,they weigh 46 lbs. for the 5 channel and 49 lbs. for the 7 channel version.
