I saw the ubid auction -- if you can get that amp for anywhere under $2k (and probably even slightly over $2k), I'd say it would be a smart move, especially with the BH's.

As you say, though, if you lose the 755 would probably still be a reasonable solution (and if not, you've got 30 days to find that out...).
