My 7500 produces a soft decaying whine through my right speaker during shutdown, lasting a couple seconds and taking place maybe 10 to 15 seconds after the amp is powered down. My understanding is that this is the result of a capacitor discharge. I don't recall hearing a chirp from any of my amps, but my speakers aren't hugely efficient and it could be lost in the sounds of the various relays triggered at that time.
