Yes, the test tone is identical. Differences in individual speakers, room placement and area acoustics account for whatever differences you are hearing. Your amplifier setup might also influence things if you're using multiple amps or different brand amps across the front.

As Soundhound mentions, changing the trim level changes the output level, which is how you calibrate the system for proper speaker-to-speaker balance.
