I'd also suggest taking a close look at the measurements in that "review." Although the graph has been tweaked to emphasize the curves, the widest variation in measured response is 1.5db. Most listening rooms would have more impact on the response curve than that, not to mention the speakers.

The flatness of the other curves is also highly suspect IMO.



Nothing in this thread leads to that conclusion. Analog is analog. If you don't like the sound, that's quite another issue.

In addition, Silverr's setup is using external filtering before the audio even gets to the 950, which is significantly
affecting the sound of his system.

He is entitled to like or not like the 950's performance as he chooses. However, his summary conclusions regarding the circuit design and the suitability of the 950 for soundtrack vs. two-channel performance should be taken with a salt lick.
