'XenonMan', you forgot to consider that 'grimloch' may be too young to even know what either the USSR or an Intercontinental Ballistic Missle are/were!

It is ironic that I don't consider myself too old (44), but when I started in the Navy in 1987, it was the height of the cold war and I trained to shoot down USSR Migs! Things sure have changed. But following WWII in 1967, I bet those who were 44 years old (like me now) found it quite strange that by 1967 we were good friends with both Japan and Germany.
