Wow, that's a long post...I'll have to spend some time reading through it later.

Tom Holman is a very bright guy who also had his own niche audio company for a while (Apt). A friend of mine still has some Apt gear and Tom is pretty gracious about continuing to answer email about the equipment and supply replacement parts.
