I agree with painttoad. There is the Tips and Tricks forum and I have posted things similar to your examples there. The thing is, there is not a huge amount of traffic at this forum, so by using the active topics link I can pretty much see everything that has happened in a day. If there was much more traffic here, like some of the larger forums (such as AVS) I could see breaking things down more. However, I feel we would also loose some of the friendly easy going nature with that kind of traffic as well. As it is now, I could post "Got a new LFM-1 Today" in the 7700 forum and everyone would still see it using the active posts link anyhow. Not that I suggest doing that however.
