Just give them a call? They should be open now and with the holiday weekend coming up, I'd want to get on it sooner rather than later.

Thanks. I did talk to Ben this morning. He had me unhook everything and then try to power it on. Sure enough, it powered up. Next I will hook up one thing at a time starting with the RCA's and turning on after every change and see what the results are. I would like to hope nothing internally in the amp was damaged due to whatever it was that caused it to go into shutdown mode.

Closely inspect your speaker cables to make sure no stray strands are touching the case or another channel. If you use banana plugs check those too. Also check the speaker terminals for stray strands. Good luck, but the smell of melted plastic still bothers me.

Thanks XenonMan. Yeah, I've done some troubleshooting and it seems the right channel is out for whatever reason. Not sure what caused it. I was using bare wire for 4 of the inputs; not the right channel though. Last night I added banana plugs to the bare wire and went from there. Not sure what I'm going to do yet. I need to talk to Ben again. My warranty will be out like Dec 13th this year. For the packing material it's a little cost.

Edit Reason: talked to Fedex again

I had a channel go out on my 7125 and they turned it around in 10 days or so. That's when my 7500 took over music duties.

Over the next couple of days I'm going to try to get the 7900 moved and hook up the Outlaw 750 I still have. Last time I used it, it worked. I kinda wish now I would've gone with the 7700 instead of the 7900. Mainly because the weight, power requirement and I believe it was overkill for my room. I'm just hoping to get the 750 up and running, because I've had to put off a delivery of Triton One's till I know I have a working system. I only have one room XenonMan that I use for music and movies. I wish I had a room that would be compatible for that, but I just can't seem to swallow the cost of two systems and one would have to be upstairs. I don't go up there much except to take my mom to bed (she has Alzheimer's and lives with me) and play drums.
