When turning on the 976 with the power button it just blinks and says power on and then says power off and shuts off and then powers on again. It just cycles on and off continuously never getting past the power on. I tried unplugging and no success. It won't stay powered on.
It's plugged into a power conditioner so it's been protected. Anyone else have this issue? I'm very disappointed in this Product.

You should contact Outlaw Tech support. Do you think heat build up could be a factor? Is your 976 in an enclosed cabinet?

Before I did anything else I'd remove the "power conditioner" from the equation and see if the 976 behaves when plugged direct into the wall.

Had a plasma TV that freaked out and a tech recommended unplugging it but to let it sit at least an hour to give all the capacitors enough time to discharge. Might work if the 976 was unplugged for a shorter period of time. If that didn't work out I would then attempt a full reset. If it works all you've lost are your current settings.

I removed the 976 from my system and it's already on it's way back to Outlaw today.

My 976 sits on a shelf near the top of an open 6 shelf vertical rack/shelves Stand. It is connected to an APC power conditioner. This keeps all the components in my system separated with lots of cooling air around them.

I've had the 976 unplugged for several weeks prior to today when I decided to do something about it, It's a real pain to get behind my rack and deal with all the wires and components connected to the 976, it's a several hour job.

I did plug the 976 into another outlet with nothing connected to it prior to shipping it back to Outlaw to verify the problem is with the 976 - it is.

I'm sure Outlaw Customer Service will address the issue. I speak from very recent experience with my own 976 that the Outlaw team is very responsive and works hard to resolve any issue.
