Was wondering if any other owners of the 975 and 976 processors are having any trouble with audio coming out of there left and right front speakers when the headphone jack is plugged in?
With the headphone jack plugged in I turn the volume all the way to Max and 12 feet away I can hear my speakers.
Trying to determine if this is normal or not.

For those of you following this. Problem was solved by turning off the power to the 5000 amp. When I did this no more audio came from the speakers.

Good work around but still seems wrong.

THe other tread opened my eyes to the fact that there are those who will question the motivation of those with a problem on a outlaw product. Circle the wagon mentality.

I agree that there does seem a tendency to excuse some issues with Outlaw products. I am not concerned with the complaints that the firmware should be changed to offer some feature like renaming inputs or the way the volume control display works on some units. The concerns about how the remote seems to function with a mind of its own and the headphone issue can be explained any way you want but it doesn't seem to be the way it should work. Outlaw Ben has explained the headphone issue but there seem to be owners who do not have that same issue and that by itself is a warning flag. If some gear operates differently unit to unit, it would indicate to me that QC is not up to snuff. Could be a batch of bad components in the circuitry or maybe we haven't heard enough from owners yet to say that all units perform this way. So 975/976 owners should try the headphone test and report on this thread to get a consensus of how the units function --All the same or some act different than expected.

The remote issue on the 976 is unexceptable..Could be like the headphone jack, more of an after thought, it could work correctly 100% of the time or a percentage lass than 100%
