Any one here have the Light on the Front Power Switch Burn out on this Amp?? I had a bad switched and replaced it With Exact OEM Switch from Digikey part # 360-1995ND and with a Day Pooff burns out, Switch works but lil light inside Doesn't confused anybody else have this Issue with there 7100 or other Amp??

Try contacting Outlaw and maybe ATI. Maybe you just got a bad switch.

I think maybe you bought the wrong switch. The part you bought has an LED for illumination but no current limiting resistor. So if the amp doesn't have a current limiting resistor then I would expect the LED to burn out pretty quickly-which it sounds like it did.

I don't know what Outlaw does to drive that light. The switch you bought is available with 12V AC, 110V AC, 12V DC and various other illumination options. If you have a volt meter you can measure the voltage across the terminals on the switch. Once you know what that is you can order to proper switch.

Hey thanks for the Replies! I didnt think of measuring the voltage but I will, As far as Switch It is Identical to the Original!! Same #'s on it. thats how I found it..I went threw the amp and cleaned it and checked all the Fuses all checks out.. But I will Also call Outlaw, this is still a Great Amp!

"Eman" you called it..I had the Wrong Type,Thanks so much for catching that and got me in right Direction. I reordered from Switches Unlimited and here is the Link if any one else should anyone need to replace there Switch. It is made by NKK Switches KB16CKW01-12-FF
