This isn't so much a suggestion as it is a possible actual product. Seriously: this article says that the H-PAS technology in Atlantic's AT-1 tower speaker has been applied to a soundbar design that can hit 47Hz, and there are three companies planning to bring this H-PAS soundbar to market. One of those three is Outlaw.

I don't see this being something I'd use, but I can see this being something that could be kind of cool for my parents. I'll be interested to see what additional details develop.

I read that article and it sounded impressive but I wonder if it will match up with my system. It would probably work fine with my Maggies.

I wouldn't expect it to be merged with an existing surround system. I'd see it as more standalone for secondary or bedroom systems.

I guess I was thinking about using it as a center channel but that would be a waste of its technology.
