I came across a link last night that I thought I'd share here. It is related to the art show link in my sig. The National Ornamental Metal Museum here in Memphis has had a gift shop for a very long time now, and after my dad retired from teaching a couple years ago he started making some pieces to sell there. He started with light switch covers , but added Jefferson cups later. The museum launched a new web site about a year ago, and just recently started offering some gift shop products online through their site. That includes two of dad's Jefferson cups.

Here is the gift shop link for my dad's stuff. I don't know when/if they'll start offering the switch plate covers through the online store, but I was excited to see dad's stuff available online.

Nice pieces Gonk, especially like the building facade and the skull cup.

I like the building facade, too - I've got one in my office.

I saw some of the light switch covers at the museum during the repair days.

I was wondering if your dad made them.

Very nice

There are some that dad made, and some that somebody else did. The museum foundry also makes some, usually an annual design for each year's Repair Days. The iron ones (and the ones with strange baby-like faces) are somebody else's. The houses, plants, and menagerie of zoo animals are dad's - they are sharing space in the gift shop with his Jefferson cups. The very first of the zoo plates is in Heather's daughter's room, I believe.
