This should wake the board up.

If you had to start over from scratch, which components would you pick. My theater is starting new since I've held out soooo long on updating. Here's what I've already accumulated:

1) Outlaw LFM-1+

hooked up to outdated stereo which will be finding it's way to the recycling center in the Spring. I've been waiting 20 years for an update, would like to hear what people suggest.

Just to keep it reasonable, let's start a list of the "best bang for your buck". 3-D not necessarily a given, if last years component offers the same features(-3D) for lot's less money.

I should also state that this is intended as a theater/family room. I have 2 kids and a typical WAF to contend with as well.
