Hey All!
Would I derive any benefit sonically in stereo by replacing my 950 with a 990? I listen to a lot of music with both a turntable and a CD rig. I'd also benefit from the 990's 7.1 analog inputs vs the 950's 5.1 inputs but that's another subject. I was just wondering if the 990 sounds better than the 950 in stereo. There are quite a few 990's popping up on the used market lately and the price is reasonable.
Best Regards, Sam

It's been a while since I spent any time with the 950, but my Model 990 review was written when I replaced my 950 with a 990. I noted some improvements in the audio section of that review which may be of interest to you.
