I'm wondering if anyone out there has experienced this before?
Fired up my home theater system this evening and couldn't get any sound from any audio source. 990/7125...BDP 3600 Samsung BluRay, digital HD cable box. So I started troubleshooting... The 990 is showing audio lock on all sources...7125 is up and running with no issues (I know this because I was able to get audio in test tone from the 990) Tried hard booting the unit...the only time both my subs triggered was when I did the test tone...otherwise no signal to them either..??? I'm confused as hell!!! Things were working fine this afternoon...any help would surely be appreciated. I'm out of ideas...Thanks in advance. By the way, earlier today, I added the 2nd room signal to the 7125's 2 free channels (as I am only running 5.1) to my outdoor speakers. But they were working fine this afternoon as well. Now no audio from them either. Tried disconnecting the 2nd room setup...still no change.

Check to see if the red speaker icon is visible on the front panel (near the bottom right corner as seen in this picture) - if it isn't visible, the pre-amp outputs have been shut down and the headphone jack turned on. To change that, you need to hold down "MUTE" on the front panel for about three seconds to switch back from headphone jack to pre-amp outputs.

Thanks Koyaan..Yes they are except I had to run an analog signal for the room 2 setup as it will not run off of a digital input. I've had this setup (minus the room 2) running for over 2 years with no issues. Everything was running great yesterday afternoon. I simply turned everything off and when I came back in the evening, no audio..from any source.

Hi Gonk...thanks for your reply...I did check the front panel (with a locked digital signal) and there are no red speaker icons visible. There is audio (white noise) coming from the speakers when I try to do a speaker setup\calibration...so I know there are no issues with either the signal to the amp or the amp itself...that is what I find weird. Can't quite get my finger on it...hopefully it is just something I'm missing!
