I was wondering if the 1050 is what you would call a high current receiver or not. Also if you had to compare the Outlaw power output say to another company like Denon or Onkyo would the power match up. For example if you had an Onkyo which was putting out 65 watts a channel would the Outlaw 65 watts per channel be about the same as the Onkyo if not better.

Just making sure this is not one of the cases where a company over rates the power output of their products which some companies like Kenwood and Technics have done.

I'm not sure about whether it would qualify as a "high current" receiver, but the general concensus around here is that the 1050's 65WPC is the match for most any mass-market receiver rated up to 100W (including Denon and Onkyo, I think).
