Went to the Home Theater Show in New York City this pass Friday.
Disappointing sad to say. I have been going to them for the last eight years from NY, LA, and SF and this year was the worst.
Strictly my opinion but none the less I think that I had a lot of people agreeing with me.

Of course the exception to the rule was Outlaw! Great demonstration.
For all of the notions of when Outlaw was presenting a new amp, well if you were there you would have seen it in all of it's glory.
Huge! I mean huge! You will need a back brace and an extra pair of hands to handle this whopper.
Looks wise it is what you would guess a bigger version of the 7700. None the less impressive to look at. Power, oh Yeaaaaaaaaa baby. Price, better than $3000.00.

Sorry I do not have the specifics but I am sure that they will be on this site soon.

My question is whether Outlaw will make an offer to the customers that have purchased the 7700 over the last year to a reasonably priced upgrade on the 7900?

Just wanted to let my fellow Outlaws to be aware.

Glad to hear from someone else who made it to the show - one of these days I may have to try to catch one of them. It sounds like this could have been a good year to see Outlaw's offerings. If you haven't checked it out yet, take a spin through this thread and add any details that are still missing. wink

Based just on past experience, I would not expect a trade-in program (unless of course you're in your 30-day trial period). Of course, resale value on used Outlaw gear is generally excellent. If the upgrade bug demands a 7900 and your house's structure will hold it up, you could always put the 7700 on Audiogon and let the proceeds help pay for the 7900.
