So this is my first experience with a 200W per channel amp, let alone 7 of them.

Might I just say that it must be made out of the most denses material known to man. Boy that guy was heavy.

Getting it from the front door upstairs to the bonus room across the house with myself and my wife trying to carry it had to be the most entertaining experience ever.

We made it fine, no one died, and scratch free.

But we probably sat there dazed on the floor for a few minutes wink

smile - I can guess what the experience was like based on my Model 750. Glad to hear the 7700 made it into place without injury or structural damage.

My old Adcom GFA-5802 weighed nearly as much and it was only a stereo amp. 8-) The same goes for a lot of higher end tube gear. Those big fat output transformers weigh a LOT.
