Hi everyone, first post here!! I am in the market for a used 7 channel outlaw amp. I have seen that the 7700 just recently came out and I have heard nothing but great things aobut it!! I would like to know the difference between these two. I was hoping to buy used and save a little green!! My receiver does not have balanced outputs so I am not as concerned about this. I wanted to know more about sonic differences, quality, etc. Thank you all for your time!! Chad

Also I have heard that the warranty is transferrable, is this true? Thanks!!

The 770 was replaced by the 7700. The main change is balanced inputs and topography - not sure that there's much sonic difference at all. The other difference is that the 7700 is available new, while the 770 was discontinued last year. The warranty for both units is transferrable and is good for five years.

Great, thanks for the input. I have the Klipsh RF-7 system. I have also looked at the B&K 200.7 and the Aragon 2007. Any opinions on these or the Outlaw when paired with each other? Thanks! Chad
