I have a stereo system in my home office and I'm thinking of adding an SMS-1 and a sub. Unfortunately I don't have a TV in the room - I use this system for audio only. I could grab the crummy 13" TV in our bedroom and use the video in long enough to set up the SMS-1, but it couldn't stay there. Would that be OK, or am I likely to need the TV fairly often?

Thanks...

You will definitely need to have a TV during setup, but after you get it dialed in you can put the TV and calibration microphone away and not worry about either unless you re-arrange things or make other system changes.

It is! Good to "see" you again, Mike.

Thanks, Gonk, that's good to know.
