Is there anyway to get the 1070 to pass a PAL video signal? My DVD player can output PAL and NTSC and my display handles both too. Is there a secret menu switch to change the Outlaw to PAL output?

Have you tried PAL with the 1070 the way it is? I used to live in a PAL country and some gear I had, designed for NTSC, would pass PAL without any problem. The only item affected was the on-screen menu which was a bit 'squeezed' but still perfectly readable. Perhaps you can check with Outlaw, but if there is no 'hidden switch,' they can at least tell you if a PAL signal will in any way harm the 1070's electronics.

I tried passing a PAL signal from my DVD set to PAL with a Dr Who (season 2) DVD. No dice. I had to down grade the signal to NTSC.

Oh well.
