I'm getting the DIY bug... I just built a subwoofer and I've made cables in the past and I just ordered the stuff to make interconnects for my 950 + 750 + 2 200's once I'm allowed by my financial advisor (wife) to get them....

Anyway.. I'm wanting to build the rear surrounds.. currently for my 5.1 setup I've got Jamo 200 dipoles... should the rear surrounds be dipoles? Or should they be more directional... since they're most likely going to be mounted on the back wall I'm thinking that directional speakers would be ok....

Ah.. and for what I'm thinking about building.. I was planning on using some Fostex full range drivers (127E, or possibly 166E)... I'll probably use the rear surrounds as bookshelf speakers in another room to get them tweaked like I like them then use them for the surround rears....
Any advice is appreciated
