I'm not a 1070 owner, and since I have my 990 I don't plan to be. But in my quest to become familiar with the Outlaw family of products I was poking around the web site and noticed that there's already a firmware update for the 1070. I haven't read what enhancements of fixes it brings to the table. Just found it interesting that there's already an update out there.

Later,
simp

I would guess that a final revision to the software was made after the first batch shipped from the factory. Geek that I am, I just downloaded the patch and ran the installer to see what it looked like - and it is a pretty comfortable interface.

if I recall correctly, it's something like a remote code for the 1070 that conflicts with a remote code for a certain cable box -- something that didn't come up in beta testing because beta testing can only cover what equipment combos you happen to have in your beta testers....

glad to see that the outlaws are fixing things so promptly. and great to see that the fixes can be done by users on their own.
