I've had my lfm-2 for about 2 weeks now, and when watching movies, I can really appreciate what it adds to my experience. That being said, when I listen to music in bypass mode on my Outlaw 1070's I experience more low end than in modes with my lfm-2 included. My mains are Axiom M60's. I have the sub set up in the corner behind my listening position to my right. I followed the advice in the manual, and put the sub in my seat, and moved around the room to find the ideal position. Axioms are set to small on 1070 with crossover set at 60Hz. Sub crossover is set to 70Hz, phase switched to 0, and volume at 4th slash mark. Do I have something set wrong?

I am wondering why you have the crossover set to 70Hz at the sub instead of bypassing it entirely. With the 1070 doing bass management, there's no need to use the sub's crossover at all.

Analog bypass skips the bass management entirely, although I believe that the rear panel toggle switch will work for stereo analog inputs just as well as it will for the 7.1 Direct input (in which case you'd want to set it to "HPF/LPF"). Bypass with digital inputs skips DSP, including bass management. If you're using a digital input, try using straight stereo mode.

Thanks for the advice Gonk! The little LFM-2 is shaking the sofa in stereo mode now!
