RyanJohn,

Good to see someone else from Boise!

I was going to pull the trigger on the LFM-1 or a SVS PB12-ISD/V this week, so it will be interesting to see what this new woofer is. I just talked to Outlaw on the phone on Friday with some questions on the LFM-1, and they didn't mention anything about a new product coming out.....Hmmmm....

I saw it at the NYC Home Entertainment Show this weekend. Looks just like it's older brother.

The show had two LFM-1's hooked up. Insane sound when they showed a scene from Flight of the Phoenix.

That movie had some really nice bass. I saw it last night. It was not too bad.

In need of some sound advice:

currently in the market for a sub and almost bought the svs pd-10 for $400. This until I heard of the Outlaw subs.

my current system is B&W 603's all around powered by Anthem's amp and preamp. I have the Denon SACD, but not sub.

my family room is around 15 x 17 with 11 foot ceilings. I am not trying to break windows or tick off the neighbors, but does anyone out think the LFM-2 would be too small?

I wish Outlaw made a 10inch sub.

really look forward to anyones opinion

Having owned it now for 3 months I have to say I am very pleased with the LFM-2.
Looks, Sound, Movies, CD's (my CD collection contains a wide range of music from Sinatra to Beatles to Metalica to 3 doors down and a lot in between) all sound great.
I'm running a Denon 4806 with Klipsh front and center speakers with 4 Bose 301V's for side and rear surrounds. Room is about 11 x 15.
A friend of mine has the LRM-1, but I just didn't have the room to fit it in the room, and the smaller footprint of this unit was perfect.
One of my decisions too was that if I moved (I'm planning a move next summer) into a bigger place I can always add the LFM-1 and link them with a Y adapter for even better sound.
Outlaw outdid themselves with this product.
