It does raise some interesting opportunities for our considering an add-on phono pre amp box. However, we have to gauge the interest in such a device. Peter

If we assume that a "977" (or whatever name it might get) is hiding in the pipeline behind the 997, 990 and 970 owners who pass on the 997 would have the same $200 discount available for the first six months that unit is shipping.
