I currently own a 990 and use it with a Monster 3250 and B&W 804S's.

My parents asked me to put together a system for them, so I just received the following gear:
1)990
2)7500
3)M80 V2
4)VP 150 Center
5)QS8's Surrounds
6)EP500 Sub

I know a lot of people on the forum are running similar setups and, before I hook everything up, I just wanted to ask if anyone has any general suggestions for this setup - specifically regarding crossovers, speaker placement, and sub settings.

I'm not very familiar with all of the sub settings, and there are a fair amount of options on the back of the EP500.

Just from looking at Axiom's site, I'd probably suggest starting with a 40Hz or 60Hz crossover for the front speakers (M80), 100Hz crossover for the center (VP150), 100Hz or 120Hz crossover for the surrounds (QS8), and I'd bypass the crossover on the EP500. As for the Trim setting on the EP500, based on the manual I'd start out with it set to "Flat" initially. The "Half" or "Full" settings may be useful if you have a problem with the very low bass being too powerful in the room due to acoustics problems, at least according to the blurb in the online manual.
