Dear Fellow Outlaws:

It's been a while since we sent out a lengthy Newsletter, and quite frankly, we're not doing that today, either. But please, allow us to explain: Many of you have commented that our Newsletters have become a bit too long, making it necessary to dig for the specifics of a particular product.

Therefore, going forward, the Outlaw Newsletters will typically deliver headline style bulletins, with the complete details on a product or topic posted in the appropriate subject area in the Outlaw Saloon. If the brief tease about a particular product tempts you to look for more information, simply click on the link or mosey on over to the Saloon or the main Outlaw Audio website for more information. We hope that this improved format works for you, and we look forward to your comments.

General News:

· As has become our annual tradition, the Outlaws will decamp from the Hideout this week and travel to the Wild West for the annual Home Entertainment Show in Los Angeles from June 2nd through June 4th. Peter and Scott will be only a few of the Outlaws who will be there to give you an opportunity to hear our existing products and get a first hand look at some new ones. Yes, we're giving away some free admission tickets. Yes, there will be "Show Specials" and, yes, Peter will be dispensing our annual "collector's item" give-away. For more information, look in the Announcements section of the Saloon, or click here .

As a note to any Outlaw who has purchased the exact same combination of gear in the Show Special packages during the last thirty days, you have the choice of receiving the difference in the equipment pricing credited back to your card account, or you may request 150% of that amount in "Outlaw Bucks" good for one year against any purchase.
· Steve will be among the Outlaws who remain behind at the Hideout to cover the phones and e-mail inquiries next week, but the office will be a bit short staffed. Please bear with us if the phone wait times or e-mail responses are a bit longer than usual from June 1st through the 5th.
· Anyone who follows the financial news knows that the prices for many basic commodities, particularly copper and the other metals used in our products, have gone up dramatically in the past few months. When you add the increase in transportation costs due to fuel surcharges, our suppliers have increased their prices to us more than once over the past few months. We've been able to hold the line to date, but it looks as though we've run out of room in our ability to absorb price increases.

Accordingly, please be advised that there will be price increases on some of our products, such as amplifiers and cables, as of July 1, 2006. Combo pricing will also be adjusted to reflect the increases. We wish it were otherwise, but this is truly out of our control. We believe that a 30-day notification is appropriate for anyone who is sitting on the fence about a purchase.

Amplifier News:

· The Model 7075 joined the Outlaw product line last month and is now available for immediate shipment. This new Outlaw is compact in size and modestly priced, but don't let the low profile fool you. This is an Outlaw multichannel amplifier, and that means full seven-channel power, "all channels driven", and "Made in the USA". For more information on the Model 7075, click here .
· The rest of the current amplifier line remains in stock for immediate shipment either as an individual purchase to upgrade an existing system or as part of a combo with either of our processors.

RR 2150 News:

· For those who have been patiently waiting for an RR 2150 we are pleased to let you know that a shipment has been received at our warehouse. The incoming quality inspections have started and a fair number of units were shipped out before the long weekend. The remainder of the shipment will be inspected next week, and we'll get them on the trucks as quickly as we can. Although it had fewer units than we would have liked, this shipment should cover all RR 2150s placed through the end of April, and perhaps a bit farther down the list than that. Unfortunately, due to the tremendous demand for the RR 2150, we continue to be plagued with parts shortages and supplier problems. While we are doing our best to push up the delivery date for the next shipment, it is not expected until some time in late June or early July. We'll keep you posted.

Model 990 News:

· For those who have not been following the threads in the Saloon, a software upgrade is now available for the Model 990. The upgrade delivers a number of feature improvements, such as the ability to use the front panel display when setting Lip Sync times, improved sonic performance with Dolby ProLogic II/IIx, and a re-vamped bass management system. Outlaw Audio has the ONLY popularly priced line of home theater products where ALL current multi-channel processors and receivers are software upgradeable in your home. We're please to take advantage of this important feature with this upgrade. For more information, click here .

SMS-1 News:

· The incredible Velodyne SMS-1 has lived up to its reputation by improving overall bass performance for many Outlaws. Some of you, however, have told us that the SMS-1 is a bit daunting and perhaps more complex than first thought.

For that reason, we've created "The Outlaw's Guide to the SMS-1" to expand on Velodyne's comprehensive Owner's Manual. Written with direct input from some of our customers, we believe that you will find this to be a unique document with an approach that is quite different from any other product guide you have ever read. The Guide helps make the installation of an SMS-1 easier for newbies while letting the more experienced among us extract even greater performance from this spectacular product. Other Product News

· The balance of our line, including all amplifier models, both subwoofers, and all of our cable products, are in stock for immediate delivery. Mosey over to our web site for complete information.

That's all for now. We have to pack up the chuck wagon and get it rolling across the country so that we make it to LA in time for the Home Entertainment Show. See you there!

Best Regards,

The Outlaws
