I got my Outlaw audio cables with my 950 and it was all I could do to loosen the locking barrel. The instructions say to turn the silver barrel counter clockwise but the opposite is true in order to loosen them so you can connect it. You then turn the the barrel counter clockwise to tighten. If this has already been mentioned then forgive this post.

I thought so at first too, but if you held the pin of the connector in your bottom hand, and the barrel in your top hand, you would actually twist it clockwise to tighten. It is a normal right-hand thread, just a point of perspective.

And that perspective would be 'correct' if you had your component in your lap, facing you, and were connecting to the rear. IMHO the directions are backwards.
