I've got the long stack, and I can't seem to get them securly on my dvd player? Are they standard RCA connectors? Do I need to force it on?

They are locking RCA's (forgive me if you already realized this) -- you need to partially "unscrew" the silver portion of the connector (the part that says "Outlaw") to slide the connector on to the jack and then screw the silver portion back into place. It's a little tricky, since the connectors will probably be rubbing against each other when you're through. Hope that helps.
