Now that you outlaws have had a chance to listen to the 770, how does it sound? What is the basis for your opinion? Have you owned other multi-channel amps. Which ones? I am primarily interested in home theater not analog listening.

The price in combination with the 950 is unbeatable. However, I am wondering about the sound quality. I currently have an Aragon 2004 which I have already put up for sale on Audigon. I am thinking of selling one or both of my Citation 7.1 amps also if I buy the 770.

Slingshot, I saw this the other day and I was hoping someone else could answer this for you since I do not have much experience with amps. I will say that my 950/770 combo sound unbelievable. I have two Marantz MA500 as well and I prefer the sound of the Outlaw amp, but take that at face value. Maybe some one who knows a thing or two about Amps like RAF can answer this. All I can say is that if you are looking for detailed, clear, and tight sound the 950/770 will provide.

If it sounds better than an Aragon amp, then it is special! Im open to it, but , frankly leaning to a ATI 1506/1504 combo due to bridging capibilities(I have exremely ineffcient Walsh 5's) ans a near 30 year customer with SAE(original ATI group).
