Any one know what size (diameter) the binding post are? I assume they will be the same size as the ones on the 750. I need to know what size spade connectors to get. (I have emailed the Outlaws but haven't heard back yet)

They didn't respond? That's really odd; they're usually good about that. How long has it been since you e-mailed?

I think Scott's going to be out for a few days, so that may slow down responses some.

The binding posts on the 750 are standard -- standard spades fit. I've got my center bi-wired with standard spades at the 750 and bananas at the speaker. I also have cables for my mains that have large spades on both ends (bi-wired Paradigms, and Paradigm uses large binding posts), and the large spades also fit fine.

I emailed the Outlaws the morning of the 5th. I replied to an earlier email from them instead of using the form on the web site.

I was wondering about the binding post size because I know there are several different sizes out there that manufacturers use. The binding post on my speakers are just a hair over 1/4 inch in diameter. Is this the 'standard' size for audio equipment?

1/4" is the standard binding post size, and Outlaw has used that size on all previous gear (the 1050 and 750 both use 1/4" binding posts). There is a larger 3/8" size that some speaker manufacturers use (I know that Paradigm does, and I think Definitive Technology may also use these larger posts).

Edit: You may also see these posts listed as 6mm and 8mm (I checked the current Audiogon auction for TMC Gold Label cables, as I know that they are available both ways because I bought some with the large spades, and they list them as 8mm and 6mm).
