After lurking here for many months I have decided to join the community! I started my HT about 1980 with a RS decoder which routed phased content from a hi-f vcr to a small rear channel amp. Constant piecemeal upgrades led me to a complete makeover for Christmas with the 950/755 purchase as the core. A Salamender equipment rack in cherry proved to be the only one big and sturdy enough for the 755. B&W cdm-nt's all around with their monster center channel and dedicated wall hanging surrounds matching my paneled walls perfectly. A great touch was the ability to wallpaper over Audioquest ribbon speaker cable for a wireless rear speaker installation. I have some interesting experience with JVC's 7 disc dvd changer, progressive scan, dvd audio for less than $200. I love the 950, warts and all, with its ability to produce an uncannily realistic soundstage, goosebumps from a veteran HT enthusiast is high praise indeed!
