And actually "fortunately" there are not that many units, which attests to the quality of the 950, and most likely small % of units with significant issues (and I'm a user with hiss).

That certainly seems to be the case, so I don't understand why you don't just ship them and deal with the problem one as they come up. If it's such a small number of units it shouldn't be that big a hit to the outlaws. It's roughly the same thing they did with the s-vid issue, right?

Nice to have the moderator back on line. You go to a trade show and take some time off and look what happens.
You even had Gonk on hiatus. Now he's back too.
Best of luck fixing the hiss. I'll go back to lurk mode and await the next new product announcement before the All Star break.

You apparently fail to understand the significance. I have a very rare form of cancer, known as Azryan's syndrome, which goes into remission only when faced with the onslaught of my favorite death metal bands played at extremely high volume. The treatment, analogous to a form of chemotherapy, is only temporary and must be repeated every few hours to remain effective. Failure to receive treatment results in irritability, followed by lethargy, followed by nausea and eventual death.

I just received my "950 ready to Ship!" email.
My reservation date: 1/18/02, 3:26PM
My order will be placed when I get back from Dizzy World on Sep. 16th!
I already bought and received my 755 back in June (which kicks-A, BTW)! I can't wait!
I hope the wait was worth it... which by all accounts it should!
