Scott,
The big question. Will the racks accommodate the weight of the 770?

I can assure you they will. My friend has one and he has many amps on it. Outlaw wouldnt offer them if they couldnt hold their own amps safely

Update... I did some checking and I can't tell for sure or not but they resemble Vantage Point racks/furniture. Thats what my friend has. I still stand by my earlier comment.. "Outlaw wouldn't offer them if they couldn't hold their amps"

I think they are Premier AV , but I do agree -- they should have no problem holding the 770.

Thanks guys. Everytime I lift the 770 I have to go into traction for a week. Fortunately, that isn't very often.

anyone have any idea on how the shelves attach? or do they just sit on top of each other?

I have a rack similar to that and there is metal rod that goes through all shelves and metal tubes conceal this rod and I'm not very happy with it as the thing will wobble a little if you move it...

Hello All,

We added these stands as a convenience to our customers because of their sleek styling and substantial build. While we are still fine tuning the rack section of our web site, the majority of the dimensions are already there. As for weight handling, on the top shelf of the OASEA4 (four shelf audio rack) I stacked a 770, 7100, and 2 200's without the slightest hint of distress. Hope this helps!

Thanks Scott.
Can you get castors for them? If so, what is your assessment with respect weight capacity then. I am building a home with a dedicated HT. The equipment will be in a closet. These racks look perfect, but I want to be able to easily move it.

The casters are rated for 75lbs each. So a stand with four casters can hold up to 300 lbs. Stands that use six casters can hold up to 450 lbs.

Regards,

Scott
