Anyone have any thoughts on this? I'd like tight bass that's good for music, but more often used in home theater mode.
I've heard that it's better to go with one "better/bigger" sub than two smaller ones, since the sum of the two parts don't necessarily equal the one.
I'm currently using and looking to replace a Paradigm Seismic 12, which is a bit too much sub for apartment living.

One LFM-1 will get you noticed by your neighbors in an apartment building. I suspect the same applies for a pair of smaller subs. I'd probably just get one LFM-1. I've got a rather large room for my HT stuff and I mostly leave my 2nd LFM-1 powered down.
