I currently have an Adcom GTP-400 PreAmp/Tuner, Adcom GCD-600 CD 5 Disc Changer, and Canton Karat 960 3-way floor standing speakers. All this equipment ranges from 5-10 years old and works great.

I was using a 20 year old Bryston 3B rated at 125 watts driving my speakers which are rated at 150watts into 4 ohms. My older brother wants his Bryston back so I need a new stereo amplifier.

I have looked at Adcom's latest offerings but have found many local dealers stopped carrying Adcom because they state "the new stuff is crap". I have heard this from a few dealers in NYC.

Anyway, since everything is going HT these days it seems difficult to find a quality inexpensive stereo 2 channel amplifier. Would a pair of M200s be a good match for my "stereo" system?

I will not be going to HT anytime soon since my 650 square foot apartment does not really allow for the home theatre experience and my neighbors might get pissy from the noise.

Thanks in advance!

The 200's seem like they would work well for you. They wouldn't have any trouble with the 4ohm loads you've got. And even if they show up and you decide you don't like them for some reason, there's still Outlaw's 30-day return policy.
