Is the video switching on the 950 bandwidth sufficient for 720p video?

Hi,
I use mine for 720P and 1080i, and can't see any difference between direct wiring, and going through the 950.

HTH,
Peter

I never tried it (used my component switching for 480p sources; HD at the time went via DVI straight to the TV), but I seem to remember the component switching being rated for HD. The 950's component video frequency response was rated for 45MHz - if I remember correctly, the minimum threshold for HD-compatible switching is generally considered to be 30MHz, but it's been several years since I've read up on it. These days, most units (include the Model 990 and the Models 1070/970) are designed for 100MHz.
