well im gonna find out if the outlaw sounds better than my onkyo tx-sr700. i ordered the 950 due to budget constraints,(i wanted the 990) so i hope i made the right decision? i listen to HT. alittle more than music so ill find out quick im sure. im using B&K amps to power my Klipsch rf7 speakers so who knows??? ill let you know what im in fore! do you have an idea if im in for trouble?or sonic bliss?????

The 950's been making good sounds for lots of us for three years now. It still makes good sounds, and at its current price (the $700 price is $200 lower than the price it was introduced at) it is a great value. smile Let us know how the comparison shakes out.

I am also using B&K amps to power Polks. I was using the Onyko Integra 7.0 A/V. My onkyo is
of course older, but I have been very happy with my 950. We listen to a lot more music, the bypass
is a great feature, if you don't like the stereo.
[my DVD player also has this direct feature] Besides, with the 30 day try out, can't go wrong, that's why I tried it.
Plus readin this forum, you can get great advice/ or
help.
{I did keep my Integra, for another room]
