Watching the Matrix the other night, not to loud around -5db and the 950 started turning itself down. No I wasn't sitting on the remote. Thought of that myself. It turned itself down to about -32 db. So I turned it up to -6 or something like that and a few minutes later the whole unit shut down. Ever hear of anything like this?

It may be sleep time mode. It happened to mine when I set it to something other than “off”. Just a guess.

I think it was the sleep time, must have hit it by accident.

Never had that problem

Depending on where your amp is, it sounds like it is overheating.
