Has anyone use 1050 with the Transformer in the country that has 220V/50Hz electric? How is the quality? any bad experience?

Are you talking about the version of the 1050 distributed in Europe by SoundCenter ? From what I understand, it is identical to the 120V/60Hz model but with a RDS tuner. I've never heard of any problems with it, but I don't know of any regulars around here who have one (unless Anders does).

Could be that he means the 120v version with a step-down transformer.

Yeah, I wondered about that, that's why I asked. I've never heard of anyone trying it, although I suppose it ought to work .

I am not worry about the Voltage, you can step down the Voltage, but the real problem is the frequency. All transformer only can do Voltage but not step down frequency from 6oHz to 50Hz. Most of the 220V systems is 50Hz
