I'm a new 950 owner. When I configure a given input to default to PLII-M and then switch to a DD broadcast, the 950 plays in DD which is great. But, when going back to the original channel, the 950 doesn't play in PLII-M, but in PLII-C as per the factory default. I hope I explained this well. How can I configure it to default to PLII-M all the time, for a given input, except for when it senses a DD broadcast?

I've been meaning to reply to this for a couple days, but I'm not sure what might be going wrong. Obviously you're using a digital audio input for the input in question (since you're getting a DD signal at times). What you might try is going into the 950's menu, selecting Input Setup, and setting the default mode for the input you're concerned with (Video1, for example) to Pro Logic II-M (or PLII-M+CR if you have a 6.1/7.1 system). A Dolby Digital 5.1 signal would still kick it over to DD, obviously, but that default mode setting might direct the 950 to do what you want with stereo input signals.
